Yes, this is a long novel (800+ pages) but with a truly fascinating heroine who you will alternately love and hate. Like a good friend, she’s sometimes great to get along with and sometimes not. And the reading is not always easy (Chapter 2 has two strands - on the left and right pages), but it is truly rewarding.
